In summer of 2019 I visited Egypt, Turkey, Italy, Grece, Albania and Croatia. I was in these countries for a month getting to know their cultures and religions. From this trip I must admit that I had a complete mental switch; I had never seen the way in which people from a religion so different to mine live, the Muslim religion is different from the Catholic religion in many ways. I lived through the cultures of these countries, getting to know a lot more about the world. Although I live in Colombia, a country of few economic resources, sometimes we lock ourselves in a bubble, closing our eyes to our country´s reality. In Egypt I saw how people worked so hard for a living but had to live in vulnerable conditions. Although I had already seen this, never had I been so deeply involved, reason for which my mentality towards the world changed a lot and I can say I learned many things in this trip.

In May, 2019 I visited New York with my Art HL school class; we visited with the intention of knowing the art expressions we have been studying for so long. We stayed in New York for 10 days, visiting museums like the MET, MOMA, Guggenheim, Whitney Museum... as well as galleries like the David Zwirner Gallery,

In summer of 2018 I visited Peru, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile during one month. I had the opportunity to know ancient cultural sites such as Machu Pichu and Ollantaitambo in Peru, visit the beautifull European inspired cities of Buenos Aires and Montevideo and travel thorugh the Andes mountain range in Chile. I also had the opportunity to visit some small countries in the Caribbean such as St Lucia, Antigua, Barbados, Puerto Rico, St Kitts and Nevis.

I traveled during on month to visit cities, historic landmarks and museums in Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Vatican City, Monaco and England. This was one of the most enriching activities in my life since i learned about other cultures, their history, traditions and actual way of life.
