I have always had a creative mind, since I was very little I started painting in an art academy. When I moved to the US I continued painting and taking art lessons. I had the privilege of participating in the Miami Art Basel, this will be shown later on. When I returned to Colombia, I continued painting but with less frequency, visiting my Grandmother (Bachelor of Fine Arts) for lessons on how to paint specific canvas to expose in my room, living room, etc. Finally, when I entered the IB Diploma program I decided that I should use my artistic talent: I am currently presenting Art as a Higher Level subject. In Art HL we focus on creating pieces that have a message to give, and that do not only serve as decoration, here I have tried different techniques inspired by multiple artists. The following area will be separated by stages of art in my life.

This section is dedicated to the canvas I like to create using technology on my advance.

Most of the pieces that will be exposed are the combination of ideas I gather by inspiring myself through other peoples creativity.

All the pieces here were made by me in my free time; I like to elaborate these drawings as a relaxation method, not for them to be exposed.

The series on canvas presented from here on below show diferent artists and designers who have sufered different diseases, these diseases are represented with drawings over their pictures.

The Art Basel is an art fair that features contemporary art mainly, it takes place once a year in different cities like Miami, Hong Kong or Basilea. Miami´s Art Basel is a major player in the international art world.

I have always had great apreciation for art, not only this but great creativity as well. While I lived in the USA I took art lessons in the Key Biscayne Community Center with one of the artists that would be featured in the Art Basel. This artist choose a group of talented children from all over USA and gave them the chance to paint whatever they wanted in a big piece of cloth to represent the ship of Friendship. I was one of the children who got the chance to participate in the Art Basel. Below you can see my painting and a picture of the final project.
