I have advised the TMS to enter an expiry date (with Validity 3 Years) for all acquired CRP425, and @Certificates-MEAAP will be entering an expiry date (with Validity 3 Years) for all future awarding of Instructor Led CRP425.

But our concern would be; the possibility of personnel not requiring Authorised Gas Tester may acquire credit in the future for CRP425 by completing seven relevant AGT Skills VX eLearning Modules. These personnel acquiring credit by eLearning completion may show up without expiry dates as there are no Mandatory matrix requirement and default validity applied.

However  there could be a possibility to implement the default validity in the Evidence set up, but need to visit with other regional training teams as well because there could be an impact on the matrix globally.  

That is correct.

There is no expiration date for the yellow fever to enter Angola. This can be set to one time to grant completion in SVX.

Many Thanks. I have removed “Valid to” date entries for DS-7’s Yellow Fever acquired statuses (made a 1 time requirement regardless of expiry dates on Vaccination cards).

@Certificates-MEAAP, moving forward please do not enter the expiry date data in the “Valid to” fields while awarding/uploading “Yellow Fever Vaccination - ( CRP1617 )” in Skills VX ( CRP1617 is made a 1 time requirement regardless of having an expiry date in the Vaccination cards).

Kindly note that above mentioned exemption is only applicable to “Yellow Fever Vaccination - ( CRP1617 )”. All other requirements that needs refresher/retraining shall accurately reflect “Valid to” date as per default validity applied in the matrix or expiry date mentioned in the certificate, whichever occurs first.

·       “BOSIET/FOET, OPITO  - ( CRP345 )” replaced TBOSIET-OPITO as TBOSIET is not accepted in New Zealand.

·       “NZQA Unit Standard 31290 & 31291 - Certified Handler - ( NZQAS )” added for Derrickhand positions as a Pre-embarkation trg.

·       “Offshore Meteorological Weather Course - ( CRP981 )” added for Radio Operator position as a Pre-embarkation trg.

·       “Slinging and rigging - ( CRP1246 )” replaced all HRL Bankman/Dogman/Rigger requirements

·       “Audiometric Testing - ( CRP1591 )” for all personnel kept in the matrix as Other Mandatory Training  

·       “Forklift Operator - ( CRP266 )” replaced all HRL-Forklift Operator requirement and kept as Other Mandatory Training

·       “Asbestos Awareness - ( CRP433 )” kept as other Mandatory training for Barge Supervisor, OIM & Toolpusher

·       “Mental Health First Aider - ( CRP1358 )” added as other Mandatory training for OIM & RSA positions.

STCW-AFF & PSCRB cannot be validated by STCW-BST & OPITO-BOSIET.

STCW-AFF & PSCRB are higher level of courses that are standalone trainings for Advanced Fire Fighting & Survival Craft/Rescue Boat coxswain respectively.

Whereas, STCW-BST Can validate – STCW-Basic Fire Fighting, Elementary First Aid, Proficiency in Survival Techniques & Personal Safety & Social responsibility

OPITO BOSIET can validate – Non STCW Basic Fire Fighting, Elementary First Aid, HUET & Offshore Survival
