While I cannot offer advice in such situations, I am happy to help in my capacity as your instructor. Please do not hesitate to reach out, these are extremely stressful times and we all need help at various stages in our lives even under normal circumstances.

~~

  • Please join our Google Classroom, invitation was sent out via an email along with Zoom links for lectures and office hours. Save this information locally on your device AND on a piece of paper. In general, make sure to have offline back-ups of all the course material. We are relying heavily on technology this semester and we should all have plans for glitches in various systems.

  • If Zoom crashes, we will use Google Meet - check your university email (BMail). If that crashes as well, there will be some back up material (videos, problem sets, and more) available in our Drive folder, I will send you the instructions in that case.

  • If BMail crashes or slows down, updates will be posted on this page and you can reach me via the contact form here.

  • If you do not have access to internet on a particular day, please try to join in via audio. If that is not possible either, do not panic. Try to follow our lecture plan to the best of your abilities during our regular class time. Read the textbook(s), try out a few practice problems, review the material taught so far and identify the topics you find difficult. This will make it much easier to catch up later. As soon as you have access to internet, get in touch with me so that I can help you.

  • Contact mathoffice@math.binghamton.edu for registration related issues; while I would like to help you with course-related issues, I have no control over registration and wait lists.

  • Academic Calendar has been updated, make a special note of the holidays and the exams schedule.

  • This is a coordinated course, you will find the general details here, section specific details will be made available via our Google Classroom.

  • Enroll in WeBWorK, instructions available here.

I look forward to meeting you all soon virtually!

Let us build a great learning environment together.
