We are excited to announce that we have been awarded a grant of €6,000 through the V4 Gen Minigrants project by the Visegrad Fund. This project will engage the student parliaments from our school and our partner school in Senec, Slovakia (Súkromná základná škola, Kysucká 14, Senec (edupage.org)).
Over the course of six months, selected members from both student parliaments will participate in exchange visits, collaborating on a project centered around enhancing pupils' wellbeing.
The primary goal of this project is to promote activities that support student wellbeing, identify strategies for digital detox, and foster a safe and supportive school environment. Together, our student parliaments will engage in activities that emphasize wellbeing, democratic values, and a shared European identity. Students will gather insights through surveys and interviews conducted within their own and neighboring schools.
In February, we will host a Pupil Parliaments' Conference in Chýně, which will also include other participating schools. During this event, students will present the project's findings, outline the specific needs and interests of their peers, and propose measures to enhance wellbeing in schools. The results will be compiled into a collection of best practices, including examples like relaxation exercises, creative workshops, and nature-based activities.
We look forward to sharing our journey and inspiring positive change in the school community!
