Chyne Primary School and Kindergarten 

A school with a clear mind and an open heart 

The motto expresses the approach that we ourselves want to take towards the world and at the same time, pass these ideals to our pupils. 

A clear mind expresses an open and at the same time critical way of thinking.  It’s open to new stimuli, ideas, and expresses the desire for knowledge and understanding. At the same time, it requires purity in thinking and drives away negativity. It prevents us from being easily manipulated.  

An open heart helps us live in a society where every individual is unique.  We differ in our strengths, talents and shortcomings.  An open-heart means acceptance and self-knowledge and consequently the ability to accept others. We believe that only once the individual is aware of their own strengths and shortcomings, can they fully accept the strengths and shortcomings of others.
