About Big Carpentry
Big carpentry app is an application that aims to create an effective communication amongst carpenters and help Hank to set up his workshop. This App assist the carpenter make sure that he set up his cutting jigs to continue with his work, it will also help him to see his daily routines and be able to do exercises.
Design Challenge
The challenge was to design an Accessibility Application that brings a solution to a carpenter that is partial paralysis on the right side of his body and he still wants to continue with his work therefore an Accessible application will be a great help since he is faced with this situation. This App will also have a wearable watch that he will connect to his iPad in order to see some of his notifications from the community of carpenters and see his physio sessions schedule.
Problem
Frustrated by his partial paralysis and working alone at the warehouse without assistance.
Design Frame
How might we help hank to stay motivated in doing his carpentry work and connecting with others that have a similar impairment so that he does not lose motivation.
Solution
An app that will help Hank to set up his workshop and also be able to connect with other carpenters and people who have a similar impairment.
