Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) is a national honor society for students in the biological sciences, dedicated to promoting scholarship, scientific inquiry, and a deeper appreciation for biology. Founded in 1922, TriBeta functions both as an honor society and a community for undergraduate students, encouraging academic excellence while supporting professional development and scientific communication.
The Omicron Eta chapter at the University of Washington connects students in the UW Biology community through student-led events and opportunities, regardless of TriBeta honor society membership status, to explore biology beyond the classroom.
Our events and actions are routed in exploration and community development within the UW Biology Department.
