Maira Khan

Maira Khan is a medical student at the University of Toronto. She was previously in the Honours Health Studies (co-op) program and completed a minor in gerontology. Her interest in gerontology and geriatric research began through coursework at the University of Waterloo and through her research on older adults with cancer at Sunnybrook Hospital, which led her to co-founding UW CAG in 2021. She served as Co-President from 2021-2022.

Lama Abdallah

Lama is a student in the Honours Health Studies co-op program with a specialization in health research and a minor in gerontology. She became interested in aging research during her co-op term with the Geriatric Health Systems Research Group at the University of Waterloo, which inspired her to co-found UW CAG in 2021.
