I am a native of Kaohsiung and currently pursuing a master's degree in Geography at NKNU. I spend almost every day in the lab during the thesis writing stage; however, I have a great passion for nature and thoroughly enjoy the fieldwork. Outdoor activities and traveling provide me with the energy I need for my research. I especially love the feeling of leaving my thesis behind at the foot of a 2000-meter mountain, or at the place of 2000-kilometer away!
Hobby: traveling, hiking, spending time in nature
Definitely need some activities other than writing my master thesis, and I believe that this program would be the best choice for me. Looking forward to meeting all of you, going on the field trip, and enjoying these days in my hometown with you guys.

Mavis (林靖唯)
I am a current sophomore majoring in geography at National Kaohsiung Normal University, and I come from Taipei. I am glad to have the opportunity to get to meet everyone. I grown-up in Taipei city until I was 18. Thus, compared with Kaohsiung, I am more familiar with Taipei. During my studies, geography has consistently been my favorite subject. Geography systematically organizes the factors that make up cultural differences, which are controlled by spatial factors. These spatial and temporal background differences drive even more natural and human terrain differences. Hope to share more when we meet!
Hobby: Traveling, Swimming
Kaohsiung is not the city I was born in, I am still amazed by the beauty of this city after being here for two years, and eager to share these impressions. Hope you can enjoy this journey of Taiwan from the bottom of your heart. July is really hot, and we’ll hold our courses with even hotter enthusiasm.
