My Role: Oversee and guide the UVNSS by leading the executive team, coordinating society initiatives, and representing student interests, manage events, partnerships, and mentorship programs to strengthen community and support students across all years. 

About Me: I am a fourth-year student in the BSN program at UVic. I chose nursing as many family members of mine pursued this career, and I share a similar passion for helping others. Not only that, but I also enjoy the complex biomedical studies and the endless opportunities this career offers. When I'm not studying, you can find me hanging with friends and family, pursuing outdoor activities, or watching TV at home.

About Me: I’m a fourth-year nursing student passionate about leadership, mentorship, and improving the nursing student experience. My goal within UVNSS is to help strengthen community and support peers across all years of the program as initiatives get underway. I’m very social and enjoy spending time with friends and family, playing soccer and volleyball, going to the gym, and staying active. Looking ahead, I hope to pursue critical care training, building on my clinical experiences and commitment to patient care.

My Role: Assist in managing the UVNSS social media accounts by creating posts and videos, share relevant events and resources with the student community, help other UVNSS leaders in promoting their ideas and initiatives, and increase general student engagement through creative strategies. 

About Me: I am a fourth-year nursing student in the BSN program. Although I have taken quite a bit of time off during my nursing school journey, I always find myself coming back because of my supportive peers and mentors, as well as the multiple inspirational patients that I have gotten to know and work with. Outside of school, I enjoy hanging out with friends, running, indoor bouldering, skateboarding, and recently got into volleyball!

My Role: Provide opportunities for professional growth and development for nursing students through workshops, guest speakers, and supportive resources.

About Me: I am a fourth-year student in the BSN program. I decided to become a nurse because of the positive impact that previous nurses had on me during my hospital stay. I have always had a passion for science and medicine, and I hope to make a difference in people's lives as a nurse. Outside of my education, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, walking my dog, rock climbing, painting or colouring, and watching documentaries!
