Character for the play, 'The Odd Couple' 1997 - 98
Dream of being a cartoonist spanned a few years and houses. I drew a ton in all through grade school and in college, often when I should have been taking notes or doing other school work, still doodling cartoons now, tho mostly to entertain friend's children when a visitor out places.
The Curly-Haired-Kid is a reoccurring character I attempted to draw/write comic strips for 95 - 98
'Curly & Straight' were two characters for a comic strip that lasted for 3 bits of story, that never made it past the set-up where Straight takes care of Curly, who fails over and over again at everything. It was just too sad, not funny, therefore it lost me.
Post cancer 1997-98. Bothell, WAA couple years later while finishing up my BA of Liberal Arts at 'TESC' Olympia, WA a few comic strips were published in the school newspaper, two strips were in the May 22, 2002 issue.
