What is the Action Potential?

The Action Potential is a student-led journal for Synapse. The collection aims to highlight neuroscience news that the author finds interesting and research that is currently being worked on or has been poroduced in the past, both in and out of UT, by our amazing members.

How do I apply?

The Submission Form opened October 20th for original research manuscripts, literature reviews, case studies, or even interest-based articles! Guidelines can be found here.

Submissions are due December 12 at 11:59 PM. If accepted, you will have the opportunity to make revisions and resubmit!

If you have artistic skills to show off, you may be interested in the graphic design team for the journal! Theme ideas and art submissions will be much appreciated and can be sent to Jessica Abt on our Slack. If your art is selected to be featured in the Action Potential, you get 2 points toward a category of your choice!
