Grace Trevino is a former elementary school teacher and principal for numerous San Antonio schools. Over her illustrious career, Grace supported the growth of countless teachers and children. Now as the SEE Math Coach, Grace is supporting new elementary teachers to engage children in their problem solving skills.
Dr. Emily Bonner is an Associate Professor of Curriculum and Instruction at UTSA specializing in issues of equity in mathematics education. She is the Co-Director of the San Antonio Mathematics Collaborative, a professional development program for secondary mathematics teachers. Dr. Bonner is passionate about working in and with classroom teachers and students to ensure that each student has access to high quality, rigorous mathematics.
Dr. Crystal Kalinec-Craig is an assistant professor of Curriculum and Instruction in Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching department at the University of Texas at San Antonio. While teaching undergraduate elementary mathematics methods courses and graduate courses about curriculum and instruction, her research interests focus on supporting teachers to recognize children's mathematical resources (including cultural and linguistic) and to incorporate groupworthy tasks that leverage children's funds of knowledge.
Traci Kelley is a Doctoral Candidate in the Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching Department at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She has taught undergraduate courses in the teacher education program for three years and served as a coordinator for the SEE Math Program one year, in addition to assisting with departmental research in mathematics education. Her research pursuits include ways to promote community-based mathematics education, especially as it pertains to access and equity issues in mathematics education and family and community engagement.
