UTokyo Channel is the University of Tokyo’s official video platform, featuring lectures, open courses, seminars, symposia, and other events held at the University of Tokyo.

Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are free online courses that anybody can take, and those who complete the course can earn an official certificate for a fee. As Japan’s first university to launch MOOCs, the University of Tokyo began offering two courses in 2013. As of April 2025, it has provided a total of 26 courses (13 on Coursera and 13 on edX). The total number of registered learners has exceeded 800,000 from 218 countries and regions around the world.
UTokyo Online Course Catalog allows users to search for most of the courses offered in the Senior Divisions and Graduate Schools.
