1. This event was created in 2025 for students in Portuguese 3118 to showcase films they produced in the unit on cinema.
2. Each school may submit up to three films. Teachers may want to hold a vote for the best films among their classes.
3. It is assumed that films were produced by teams of students; the members of each team should be listed in the signup form.
4. Films should be uploaded to a private YouTube channel, with the URL listed in the signup form.
5. Films must be no more than six minutes in length.
6. A list of times for the showing of each film will be posted. This event is open to the general public.
7. Films will be judged on:
o creativity of the script
o correct use of Portuguese
o preparation and rehearsal (actors can say their lines fluently and correctly)
o attention to camera angles, movements, and lighting
o video and sound quality
o editing (all shots are smoothly assembled into a completed film)
o adherence to time limit
A rating certificate will be given to each student on a team that submitted a film.
