Smithsonian Transcriptions - Digital Volunteer Service Project: 

Beta Alpha Psi is proud to offer Smithsonian Transcriptions as an approved service project for our members, in partnership with Smithsonian Digital Volunteers. This initiative allows our members to contribute to the preservation of history and culture by transcribing historical documents, field notes, diaries, and more from the vast collections of the Smithsonian Institution.

As a digital volunteer, you will play a vital role in making these invaluable resources accessible to researchers, educators, and the public worldwide. This project is flexible, allowing you to participate from anywhere and at your own pace, making it an excellent opportunity to fulfill service hours while engaging in meaningful work that supports global knowledge sharing.

Fleece Blanket Tying - University of Utah Children's Hospital: 

Beta Alpha Psi is pleased to offer Fleece Blanket Tying as an approved service project, providing comfort and warmth to children at the University of Utah Children’s Hospital. This hands-on activity allows you to create cozy fleece blankets that will be donated to young patients in need of a little extra care during their hospital stay.

You can participate in this project by requesting blankets from our Vice President of Service, Austin Tang. The process is simple and enjoyable—just tie the edges of the fleece to create a beautiful, finished blanket.

This service project is not only a meaningful way to give back to the community but also a perfect opportunity to engage in a relaxing and creative activity. Whether you work on your blanket individually or with friends, your efforts will bring comfort and joy to children and their families. Join us in making a difference, one blanket at a time!
