A pressure tapped cavity has been attached to the wind tunnel floor panel. Pressure readings are taken to characterise the recirculation zone within the cavity and it's sensitivity to airspeed as well as cavity geometry.

Wall static taps have been placed upstream and downstream of fan electric ducted fan to find the static pressure jump due to the fan at different forward speeds and fan settings. This data was then fed into a CFD actuator disk model to simulate airflow through the vehicle.
