A public vote was held on June 4, 2025. The CBA passed with 71% of the vote.
In order to approve a CBA, the USNC Board required support from a 2/3 majority of a combination of the USNC Membership and anyone who lives, works, owns property, operates a business, or volunteers at an entity located in Somerville within 1000 feet of the boundaries of the development area being negotiated for the CBA. Where partial blocks result, residents living on the whole block were eligible to vote. Where houses are only partially inside the catchment area, the residents were eligible to vote.
