HOW TO APPLY

For Placement and Internship Opportunities

Unless specified otherwise, all applications for internship and placement opportunities have to be emailed to usllsplacementcell@ipu.ac.in. The subject line should be "EOI: [Name of Organisation]_[Intended Month]" and the body of the mail should include:

The student's curriculum vitae (CV). The document name should be "[Full Name]_CV" and should not exceed two pages;
Name of the student;
Year of study;
Program (B.A., LL.B./B.B.A., LL.B.); and
Undertaking by the Applicant that they will abide by the Policy of the Cell.

For Letters of Recommendation/Authorisation Letter

Recruiters may ask for a Letter of Recommendation (LOR) from your institution when selecting you for opportunities. To request an LOR from the institution, students need to email the Cell at usllsplacementcell@ipu.ac.in and CC the same to uslls_ipuniversity@yahoo.com for printing purposes at least one week in advance of when the same is required, with the subject line "Request for LOR" and the following details in the body of the email:

Name of the student;
Year of study;
Program (B.A., LL.B./B.B.A., LL.B.);
Name of the organisation for which the LOR is required; and
Intended period of the internship opportunity.

Furthermore, the Students are advised to take signatures of either Prof. Deepshikha Agarwal, Chairperson, USLLS Internship and Placement Cell or Dr. Zubair Ahmed Khan, Faculty Coordinator, USLLS Internship and Placement Cell on the LOR requested.

All of the above details are mandatory. Without the same, your LOR/internship request cannot be processed.

General Guidelines

Students are permitted to apply for only one internship opportunity in a given month.
If a candidate has already applied for an internship opportunity for a particular month, any additional application for the same month will not be considered unless the candidate withdraws their previous application by sending a withdrawal email.
The Withdrawal Deadline for any internship opportunity is the same as its Application Deadline.
If a candidate applies for multiple internship opportunities in the same month without withdrawing any prior application, the Cell will consider only the opportunity for which the application was received first.
After the Withdrawal Deadline has passed, students may apply for another opportunity in the same month only if their prior internship application is declined by the recruiter.
