We are pleased to welcome Wayne Henriquez to the USHPDB programming staff. A national-level coach and accomplished athlete, Waynes brings a strong blend of racing experience under a wide range of coaches in national and international competition.

Coaching Philosophy: I believe that high performance is built through commitment and flexibility.

Wayne served as Team USA Assistant Coach for 2021 COVID cancelled Hong Kong Worlds and at the 2023 World Championships in Pattaya, supporting Senior A Open and Mixed, as an Assistant Coach with Team USA 2025 World Championships in Brandenburg, Germany supporting Senior A and B Women (standard and small boat), and Senior C Women (small boat).

Wayne is the assistant coach for the Florida Tarpons, winning several international club championships and us National championship.

As an athlete, Wayne is a Team USA paddler who competed for TEAM USA since 2007 Tampa World Championships.
