Scheduling is first come, first served, and subject to postponement or cancellation due to weather or university-related calendar changes. If you have visited during the past two semesters, you will be placed on a waitlist to ensure new groups have an opportunity to spend time on campus.
Absolutely not! All types of voice-centered ensembles of all levels are welcome, including:
A cappella group
Concert chorus (SATB, SAB, SA, TB, unison)
Cultural or world music ensemble
Jazz vocal ensemble
Musical theatre ensemble / show choir
We can accommodate up to 60 students total. Feel free to bring multiple groups- as long as the student headcount is 60 or less.
Middle and high schools must send at least one (1) chaperone per 10 students in addition to the ensemble director and accompanist. There is no chaperone requirement for college groups.
Lunch is on your own. Campus dining is available at the Marshall Student Center and Juniper Hall. If students are bringing lunches, we can arrange for dining space. If you want to do group dining off campus, we can suggest options.
We encourage all participants (including chaperones) to bring refillable water bottles and additional snacks. Occasionally, concessions are available for sale. If available on your date, we will let you know.
While transportation is not included, bus parking is. Busses parking on campus will receive parking passes. For those wishing to park elsewhere, nearby University Square Mall allows free bus parking.
Those driving cars must pay for parking on campus via the Parkmobile app. Please download the app and set up and account before your visit day.
Whatever you want! This is about what you need to accomplish a goal or to feel good about your next performance. We will tailor the experience to your learning targets and your students’ needs. See options in "Building Your Day."

Our goal is for your students to have an enriching, growth-oriented, fun-filled day. We will work together to build an experience starting with:
CLINIC (60 min): One of our vocal ensemble directors works with your ensemble based on your learning targets.
EXCHANGE (30-45 min): Exchanges include a joint warm up (your group and ours), rehearsal observation (we sing for you) and sharing (your group sings for us).
Mon/Wed: Blue Mood Jazz Vocal Ensemble
Tue/Thu: Chamber Singers
Optional add-on experiences include:
VOICE EXPERIENCE: Based on day of the week and time of day:
Voice Studio Observation (W, 12:30-1:30pm): Watch our voice faculty and students in action during our weekly master class. Your students will gain insight into college-level voice study, while connecting with our community.
Master Class: Your students perform for and work with USF Voice Faculty. Select 2-3 of your students for an onstage clinic during this 50-minute session.
Command Performance: A USF voice student performs for your students, followed by a Q&A on the student experience (45 min).
DINING & TOURS: Take in our beautiful campus with an Arts "neighborhood" walking tour (30 min) or full campus bus tour (our guide hops on your bus). Round out your experience with a meal in the Marshall Center or Juniper Hall.
