The USF Chamber Singers presents What the Heart Wants, a musical reflection on the ways we experience love: as passion for life, commitment to faith, joy in romance, yearning for freedom, and comfort in each other. Under the direction of Allyssa Jones, the program includes four movements from Johannes Brahms’ Liebeslieder Waltzer alongside works by Hildegard von Bingen, William L. Dawson, Katerina Gimon and Moxizishi. Featuring graduate student conductors Sally O’Sullivan and Liujin Chen, and pianist Andrea Feitl. Be sure to join us in the lobby at 6:30pm for jazz vocal soloists from Blue Mood, USF’s jazz vocal ensemble. Free admission, general seating.
