On May 9, 2027, Prof. Jones will make her Carnegie Hall debut conducting a program of songs celebrating the Harlem's musical and cultural legacy.
Join her for the world premiere of her own composition, "Unbound!"
The USF Combined Choirs will anchor a chorus of 100 voices from across the country. Our goal is 50 singers from the USF community, including Chamber Singers, USF alums, Tampa Bay choral educators and students, and USF supporters nationwide.

Carnegie Hall Trip Information (FAQ's)
USF Choral Students
To participate as a choral student, you must (1) be a member of School of Music vocal ensemble in 2026-27, or (2) audition for the Carnegie Hall performance.
If you aren't able to join a choir this year, don't worry! Email Prof. Jones to request an audition ASAP!
USF Music Alumni
Voice and choral education alums are especially welcome. No audition required.
Tampa Bay Choral Community
Choral educators, community choir members, area college students - all are welcome! No audition required.
USF Employees & Supporters
Singing employees, family and friends of the USF music community are welcome to join as performers! No audition required.
Family and Friends
Don't sing? The easiest way to join us is to travel with your singer and purchase a ticket for the concert. Tickets will be available on the Carnegie Hall website in early April.

Hotel is included for current students traveline on the Full Residency Package. All others are responsible for booking and paying for their own lodging.
No. Regardless of package, airfare is an additional fee. Those traveling from Tampa will be in the group booking and pay through their trip accounts. Those traveling from elsewhere are responsible for booking and paying for their own travel.

May 6 (Thu): Travel to NYC
May 7-8 (Fri-Sat): Rehearsals in NYC
May 9 (Sun): CONCERT, CARNEGIE HALL
May 10 (Mon): Travel home
Rehearsal attire: Event t-shirts on May 7th (1st NYC rehearsal). Casual attire for all other rehearsals.
Concert attire: Choose from-
Black suit w/white shirt (tux okay) - black tie, scarf, pin or button cover
Black formal separates - sleeves to elbow or wrist, hem to ankle or floor
Black gown or maxi dress - sleeves to elbow or wrist, hem to ankle or floor
Black shoes, closed toe
Black socks, tights or hose
No leggings, denim, jersey or casual fabrics
Minimal jewelry
Unscented personal care products. No perfume, cologne, aftershave, etc.
