What is Media Literacy?

Media Literacy is the ability to access, create and analyze messages in certain media forms. 

In this 21st century, media literacy is an important approach in education. It creates/builds an understanding of the importance of media in the society. Media Literacy enables us to understand and acknowledge the use of media effectively. In addition, it helps children and adults to recognize the influence of media and give knowledge and tools of it.

Media Literacy is important in education as it serves in the development of critical thinking skills such as problem-solving, communication and creativity. It also offers opportunities for learners to express their experiences of media, and it also helps to generate media capacity to increase creative skills fluently.
