Since we live in the 21st century, the use of technology has increased in schools to improve the quality and performance of teaching and learning. Furthermore, the introduction of technology in schools is implemented to explore learning experiences in the future learning.
In education, teachers and learners should be able to implement and practice the use of ICT as they will use them effectively. This will successfully achieve the use of ICT in schools and learners can explore in technology and they can become more advanced on how to use technology.
ICT needs to be successfully carried out and certain programs need to be introduced to teachers and learners so that they can have enough knowledge and skills in technology. This lesson is going to dwell more on the use of digital citizenship concepts such as Cyberbullying, Privacy, Ethics/Copyright, Communication & Collaboration, Media Literacy and Information Literacy and how they can be addressed in technology.

My name is Khulekani Nkabinde, and I am currently a student at the University of Johannesburg , studying Bachelor of Education in Senior Phase and FET Teaching, majoring in ICT and Isizulu.
Since we live in the 21st century, we are now learning to be more advanced in technology. In this century, ICT is important, and it has to be used to achieve the use of technology effectively.
As a future ICT specialist, I am determined to shape the future of teaching and learning and make sure that technology becomes a priority in education. My goal is to ensure that learners and teachers apply ICT in schools as this will help achieve the use of technology in schools and this will be applied in certain digital citizenships.
