Since 2023, USBL has performed an annual Empowered Professional Expo, an event where students who are unfamiliar with navigating a career fair atmosphere are able to learn how. With attendance from companies like Agility Partners and Cardinal Health, the Expo helped students gain that experience in preparation for the upcoming Career Fairs. The Expo provides resources like free headshots, professional business attire, resume reviewing, and displays of professional clothing. In 2024, the Expo reached over 100+ students on the Ohio State campus.
In 2024, USBL launched its first Summit for the Future, the gathering of student organizations dedicated to support one another, seeking to grow in leadership, and learn how their organizations can prepare for the impact of Senate Bill 1. Representatives from over 12 student organizations were in attendance for the event. Dr. James Knight (Lead with Humility) led a discussion on humble leadership and student leaders, Jessica Asante-Tutu (USG Black Caucus), Rayna Kanjo (USBL) and Jasmyn Story (NAACP) discussed action steps that can be taken by the student community.

In the Performance Hall in 2024, Indya Moore visited campus to have a discussion on her life as an actor, model, social activist, writer, and director.
To kickoff the start of the fall semester in 2022, USBL collaborated with the Black Student Association (BSA) to host a Kickball Tournament with Black student organizations.
In Fall of 2024, USBL collaborated with the Council of Black Students in Administration (CBSA) to host a Friendsgiving event focused on fostering inter-organizational community.
In the Fall of 2025, USBL hosted a Town Hall information session to introduce the plans for the new year and recruit new members.
In the Fall semester of 2025, USBL had several members discuss their internship experiences, share tips on resume-building, and creating elevator pitches.
