Located in the small town of Red Hill, the Association was incorporated in 1942.  The Association started out as a Fish and Game club and began to hold regularly scheduled trap shoots.

The late 1970's showed a marked drop in attendance at these shoots. At the same time the growing interest in Muzzle Loading rifles helped the formation of a Black Powder Committee. In 1980 the muzzle loader shoots became the main stay of the club and continued through 2001. However, a drop in attendance caused the termination of scheduled shoots in 2002.

The interest in Trap shooting had increased and in 1999 the Association joined the Montgomery County Federation Winter League. The year 2000 saw the first full schedule of trap shoots, with an increase in number for 2001. The monthly first Sunday meat trap shoots have been very popular and are ongoing.  Recently the club has sponsored and provided trained counselors for the Boy Scout Shotgun Merit Badge.

The Club Training Committee has greatly increased the number of courses offered.  This as well as significant facilities improvements have been made possible by the great involvement of our Members who volunteer their time and efforts.  A significant increase in Member donations to the Club was also welcome in 2022.
