Mr W. Woods of the Way and Works Branch of the Railway Department, who has
been stationed at Emerald for the past 18 months, has received notification of promotion
and transfer to Spokwood.
During his sojourn here Mr Woods has made many friends especially is he popular
amongst the sporting fraternity, being an enthusiastic supporter of the Cricket and Football
Clubs.
Residents regret his departure but are pleased to know that it means promotion, we
join with others in wishing him good luck in his new place of residency.
