Adaptations for Proficiency Levels:
Low: Provide sentence starters and key phrases (e.g., “I think recycling is important because...”).
Intermediate: Encourage students to create their own dialogue with some guidance.
High: Require improvisation without preparation, focusing on natural, fluent speech.
Instructions:
Pair or group students and assign them Upin & Ipin characters.
Provide a scenario related to the lesson topic.
Students prepare their dialogue based on their character and role-play it.
Allow time for rehearsal, then have groups present their role play to the class.
