Sidhay is a Filipino portmanteau for the phrase "Sisidlan ng Buhay (Vessel of Life)" which refers to the egg cell. Sidhay is the chosen name for the official publication of UP Biology Society and it features the current scientific breakthroughs, events in the University of the Philippines Baguio - Department of Biology, and the achievements of our fellow UPB Biology majors.
This edition of Sidhay serves as a time capsule, taking us back into the history of our ancestors, highlighting what we might experience in the future as we dive deeper into the wonders of technology, while also magnifying the details of our present by discussing the onset of biodiversity loss and by parading our fresh graduate Alumni β the emerging leaders and pioneers of our nation. We also feature in our gallery the UPB cats and campus sceneries to bring our fellow Isko the culture and the prestige of being on the campus (even virtually).
