AIM:

· To advocate creative ways to improve our mindfulness amidst the pandemic

OBJECTIVES:

· To showcase professionals and individuals beyond the university body regarding practice for mental health and well-being.

· To encourage students to engage in wellbeing and mindfulness activities held in a safe environment created by the University of Westminster.

· To utilise University of Westminster’s sustainability affirmed environment to promote healthy wellbeing and mindfulness (other connected SDGs).

'Plant Your Mind'

Plants look after us if we look after them.

It is a scientific fact that living near green spaces can improve mood, reduce stress, enhance cognitive skills, and promote overall well-being in people of all ages.

This activity aims to provide students an opportunity to learn about the characteristics of different indoor plants and how to look after them.

Bullet Journaling
The Workshop

Everything starts with the mind.

Idea is to allow attendees to get hands-on experience in developing their own bullet journal that works for each individual.

Professionals can introduce techniques and certain layouts that they have found useful and helpful in the context of managing one's well-being.

'Revive Your Living Space'

Take care of the spaces that makes you thrive.

For those who want to maybe change up their living space for a fresh new outlook on life.

A mini movie corner for you to wind-down as we understand the idea of ‘changes in the environment can also trigger a change of mental health’.
