Food Insecurity Lesson: At the end of the slides, there is an activity where students get into groups and calculate the total cost of a grocery list from Ottawa vs Iqaluit. This can be lead into a conversation as a class about the significant difference in prices in these different locations in Canada. Tie this back to your conversation about food insecurity in Inuit communities and how grocery prices play a big role.
