Mission Statement: The Accounting Club educates students about the accounting profession and its specialties, inspires them to consider accounting as a major, and develops their professional skills and networks for long-term career success.
We provide value to students at the David Eccles School of Business in four distinct ways:
FIRST, students learn about the accounting profession and related fields through informational meetings led by student officers, guest speakers, and employers.
SECOND, students become ready to apply for jobs and internships by developing skills through professional development workshops on resume-building, interviewing, networking, and more.
THIRD, students grow their networks and build connections through club-provided networking opportunities like weekly meetings, social events, and other activities.
FOURTH, students have access to leadership opportunities on our Board of Directors to make an impact on the David Eccles School of Business, develop their own leadership skills, gain practical experience, build their resume, and further expand their networks.
