The Accounting Club at the University of Utah seeks hard-working, motivated, and dedicated students to help lead the club in its fourth year of operations and to continue to fulfill our mission:
The Accounting Club educates students about the accounting profession and its specialties, inspires them to consider accounting as a major, and develops their professional skills and networks for long-term career success.
As a leader on our board, you'll help to enact our mission of teaching students about the accounting profession and developing their skills to be the best possible candidate. Along the way, you'll develop your own skills, such as public speaking, leadership, time management, and many, many more! Other leadership benefits include:
Build your resume and gain practical experience in managing an organization, event planning, public speaking, marketing, and more!
Develop your communication and management skills through teamwork and collaboration.
Expand your network by working closely with the accounting faculty and other departments in the David Eccles School of Business.
Our officers also have the opportunity to lead informational meetings and professional development workshops; prior examples include our Audit and Tax workshops, Resume Workshop, and Spring Recruiting Info Session. These opportunities are not limited to any specific role, and we encourage every officer to design and lead at least one meeting throughout the year!
