Time management and organizing activities
Time management in the philippines is different with Indonesia. One lesson hour in Indonesia for elementary school is 35 minutes, for junior high school 40 minutes and for high school 45 minutes, it is different with the Philippines here one lesson hour is 60 minutes for both elementary, junior high, and senior high school.
Classroom Management
When I do teaching demonstrations I give classroom rules to my students which are “LEAD” L for listening, E for English, A for attention and D for do your best. so when students enter my class they have to listen when someone speaks. speak using English because my language is Indonesian and their language is Ilocano so to communicate we have to use English. then we have to give attention not only listening but also paying attention and the last one is do your best, no need to be afraid of wrong grammar or pronunciation when speaking but all you have to do is be brave and do your best.
Besides classroom rules, I also give key words, when I say “waterfall” everyone must say “ssshhh” this can help me manage the class, I don't need to say “don't be noisy” or “please pay attention” just say “waterfall” and all students will be silent.
