Teaching Method
During my observation with my cooperating teacher, I had the opportunities to know more about the method, technique, and procedure that used in the classroom. The method used is inquiry based learning, the teacher gives many questions that can provoke students to be more active in class and the technique used is discussion which is related to the inquiry based learning method, so it can be concluded that the learning uses a student center system.
Learning Materials and Innovation
According to the teacher I observed, the materials used are from the textbook “Oral communication in context”.
The content of this book is how to communicate well, whether spoken or written, one of the topics is types of speech styles, writing patterns and so on.

The technology used is power point slides, in making slides I use Canva. Canva is a user-friendly design platform that makes it easy for teachers to create engaging and visually appealing slides for their lesson materials. Its vast library of templates, images, icons, and fonts allows for customization, and its collaborative features and multi-platform accessibility make it a versatile tool for creating interesting presentations.
Assessment
During the learning process, the teacher usually uses formative assessment and summative assessment. Formative assessment is a continuous process of monitoring student learning and providing real-time feedback to improve understanding, such as "Great", "Exactly", and "Excellent". however, summative assessment is like a big test at the end of a learning journey to measure students' final achievement, such as final exams.
