Purposes of Practicum
I joined this program hoping that I can know the teaching system, culture, and deepen my knowledge of pedagogics. fortunately I got everything, I did observations so that I know the character of students, learning methods and systems, besides that I also got an informative cooperating teacher who gave clear directions and was easy to understand. besides that I also had the opportunity to know the culture of the philippines especially vigan, I tried some food here, attended some events and museums.

Outcomes of Practicum
Through this program, I can experience teaching students with different backgrounds such as language, culture, and religion also I got the chance to know more people. In addition to pedagogics, I am also happy to be able to participate in this program in the Philippines because English is the second language of the Philippines, everyone can speak English of course this can make it easier for me to communicate, and can improve and practice speaking skills.
The Challenges of Practicum
The challenge I encountered was the bad weather that resulted in learning. in the philippines there are frequent typhoons, they have a signal system. if the government gives signal number 1 then the kindergarten-high school will be suspended, signal number 2,3,4 school, college and work will be suspended. during my time here I experienced several typhoons and it hampered my activities while here.
Overall Impression
Overall the most memorable is the friendliness of the people here, starting from lecturers, teachers, buddies, Kuya and all friends. I will also remember Vigan City for its beautiful heritage, and the beautiful sunset at Santa Catalina Beach. Overall, my impression is that I am glad to have visited this beautiful city.
Suggestion For Future Improvement
as long as I am here I feel good and safe, my suggestion for further improvement is that sea teachers are held at one time, for example all sea teacher participants start the program on October 15 and finish on November 13. the reason is to clarify the schedule of activities and also save time. so far it has been good and should be continued because this program is beneficial for future teachers.
