Hello there! I'm Anisya Nur Hidayah, now I'm third year student in English education student at Pakuan University, Bogor, Indonesia.
I am excited to explain my journey as a participant of SEA-Teacher. I'll share some information about my experiences during this program, not only about cultural and language differences but also about the education system. I have an interest in education, this program allows me to see more deeply about education. This program also bridges the future teachers to achieve more knowledge. By joining this program, I learned many things that I didn't know before, especially about education. the best teacher is experience, right?
Through this blog and some documentation I would like to describe my valuable experience during the Sea teacher batch 10 program at UNP, I hope the readers can benefit and be motivated to become a participant. I'm very proud to be a participant in this program, hope you will be next!
What is SEA-Teacher?
Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in South Asia or SEA-Teacher is a program that aims to give opportunities to the student teacher education in Southeast Asia to have overseas teaching experience to achieving quality education.
The Objectives of the Project
The SEA-Teacher project aims to provide opportunity for pre-service student teachers from universities in Southeast Asia to have teaching experiences (practicum) in schools in other countries in Southeast Asia. Specifically, the aims of the SEA – Teacher Project are:
to enable the student teachers to develop their teaching skills and pedagogy.
to encourage the student teachers to practise their English skills.
to allow the student teachers to gain a broader regional and world view.
to expose future teachers to diverse teaching and learning situations and opportunities, and the value of flexibility.
