This site is still a WIP and probably will be for a while! The data here is a mix of figures I've collected, as well as information that Jessi, the game's developer, has been kind enough to share with me. Please see the navigation in the top right for currently available sections. If the charts don't load right away, just give them a moment. Sheets can be finicky sometimes.
All of the information on this site is applicable to the recent client: v0.1.0.6

NEW PAGE discussing the mechanics of the jump here.
Updated the Routine Striding Reference to be more readable across different devices.
Updated multiple pages to be a bit more coherent style-wise and fixed some typos. Sorry, I have no say in how the table of contents looks aesthetically unless y'all want all sub-sections opening in new tabs. It's a limitation of Google Sites. :')
Pretty much all of the fundamentals are covered here so far, but I'm still in the process of translating some of the extra tidbits from my previous Mechanics & Striding Introduction video such as: visual/audio cues for horses adjusting pace on their own; lead-swap tips; and the introduction to striding tutorial.
I recommend perusing the site in the following order for things to make the most sense. Skip ahead if you already understand a section:
If you think I missed some important information (which is very likely lol), or have thoughts/would like to see something else added here, feel free to contact me on Discord either on the Official FHG Discord or via DM at Bitapetrone#7899
All recordings are taken at 120 fps.
Unless otherwise specified, all video examples are using a fully trained (100/100/100) Dutch Warmblood with a Balanced (0 temperament).
Because I am basing timings on frames and when the UI updates, be aware that a 1-2 frame discrepancy in when certain events occur--legit around 0.008-0.016 seconds--is probably not meaningful. You can experience this visual delay yourself by jumping at the very end of the jump window. Your jump will still fire even though the flashing stride signal has already vanished a frame or two prior.
