Input Opportunities

Input form

Fill out an input form either online or request a Microsoft Word form from the report team (email unmetneed2023@nau.edu). The input form is due Friday, November 3, 2023. You can see the full input form on this webpage.

Given the diversity of topics covered, please note, that we do not expect a single person to be able to answer all of the questions. If you are not able to answer the questions, we would appreciate you forwarding the input form to others who may be able to answer those questions.

Zoom or phone meetings with the report team

Schedule a call with the report team to discuss your relocation and protect-in-place needs and solutions and/or to review and assist you with the input form.  Please see contact information below.

First-person narratives, quotes, & photos

We are interested in including short first-person stories and/or quotes in the report as well as photos. If you are interested in providing a narrative, quote, or photo, please let us know (see contact information below). Stories may be provided either in writing or orally (audio or video). Narratives provided orally will be transcribed for inclusion in the report and, with your permission, recordings will be housed on the BIA Branch of Tribal Climate Resilience website and this website. Website links will be included in the report.

Informed consent

When sharing input and knowledge, everyone is required to sign a Background and Informed Consent Form.

The kinds of questions that you will be asked during these input opportunities are outlined in the input form and are related to your Tribe’s relocation/protect-in place concerns, decisions, actions, and costs and unmet need. The unmet need questions will make use of the ELIISE framework and will include questions related to Environmental and land issues and solutions, Legal and policy challenges and solutions, Infrastructure and technology challenges and solutions, Information useful for decision-making needs and solutions, Social, health, and cultural needs and solutions, and Economic needs and solutions.  We also welcome you to raise any  relocation and protect-in-place concerns important to you that may not be covered by our questions.
