Update as of December 5, 2024: The input form below is what Tribes and Tribal organizations completed if they were interested in sharing their knowledge and stories as it relates to relocation and protecting-in-place. This input form is now closed, but the information below describes the different sections of the input form and the kinds of questions that were asked.
The first part of the form (pages 1-3) is the Background and Informed Consent Form. Page 4 is the start of the input form questions. The form contains eight sections with approximately 55 questions. Many of the questions are check boxes. The eight sections are:
Questions related to climate drivers, decisions, and timeframes
Questions related to protect-in-place and/or relocations actions
Questions related to land issues
Questions related to populations who are/will be moving
Questions related to costs associated with relocation and protect-in-place
Questions related to understanding unmet need(s) and solutions including but not limited to:
Environmental and land issues and solutions, legal and policy challenges and solutions, infrastructure and technology challenges and solutions, information for decision-making needs and solutions, social, health, and cultural needs, and solutions, and economic needs and solutions.
