At the conclusion of this course:
The student will be able to explain the differences in development philosophy between US and the Netherlands on the regional and city scales and how these relate to health, safety, and resilience outcomes.
The student will be able to explain how development patterns are related to transportation systems.
The student will be able to comprehend the significance of road network layout and street design in impacting travel behaviors.

Grading
Grades will be assigned using the standard UNM grading schedule of F (<60%) through A+ (>97%) using the following evaluation weights:
40% Active participation in class activities (8 sessions at 5% each)
15% Scavenger hunt
45% Final project
