Focus: allowed artists

What artists are allowed for my country?
 

This is a very frequent question. Here are the rules about artists that you can to use to represent your country.

In principle, any artist that comply with at least one of the following criteria can compete for your country:

1. The artist (or one of the members of a band) WAS BORN in your country.

2. The artist (or one of the members of a band) IS A CITIZEN of your country. This allows artists that are originally from a different country to compete for your country if they hold citenzship (it must be confirmed in Wikipedia or another official page you share with the admins).

3. The artist (or one of the members of a band) HAS BOTH PARENTS from your country. When we have no information about the citizenship (in view of the international law stating that children can take their parents' citizenship). This criterion applies to cases in which the artist was born outside your country. Admins will carefully check the links of the artist with your country and if no clear links can be established, will invite you to choose another artist.

If none of these criteria are met, THE ARTIST WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

If the artist does not meet the criteria, THE SONG WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
