When you start promoting your next broadcast, be sure to update your website with an embedded video of the upcoming stream. Visitors will be able to add schedule a reminder (Youtube reminder) as well as view the broadcast. Be sure to add any additional links to the page (show notes, contest forms, etc).
Like separate channel for your videos, you should create a separate Google Calendar for your schedule. Not only will this keep your personal information separate, but you'll be able to share it with your admins (who can help keep the schedule update) as well as have your visitors subscribe to it (i.e. add a read-only view to their calendars).
