Heyo, I'm Raksha! Some of my main passions include creating visual arts, hanging out with friends, and doing productive things for my community (mainly by volunteering)! My passions are the exact reasons why I am so excited to be apart of the United For Justice team, as our organization is a combination of all of my favourite things. I find that through volunteer work, I am able to give back to the community that raised me and create a change for the better. Volunteer work gives me the opportunity to learn about new things and meet amazing people along the way. Through United For Justice, I hope to spread positivity through my artwork, and help contribute to making our community a better place for everyone!

Hey, my name is Jessica and ever since I was little, I have been passionate about helping out my community. I was 8 years old when I first started volunteering and throughout the years, I have accumulated over 700 hours working with different organizations including Youth Lead, EmpowHer and Credit Valley Conversation! When I saw the impact of COVID-19 in my community, I decided to organize a fundraiser to help supply menstrual products to shelters which is how the idea of United For Justice began! Outside of volunteering, I enjoy learning about urban planning, figure skating, and gardening! In the future, I would love to study business management or urban development!
Hi, my name is Iman and I'm super excited to be working with such an amazing team to make a positive difference in our community! I personally really enjoy volunteering which is why I spent a lot of my summer volunteering this year. I volunteer with many different organizations as it gives me the chance to help others and meet some amazing people as well. In my free time I like to read, write poetry, bake, spend time with my sister, and I've recently started learning how to do Origami as well. In the future I plan on going into the medical field since that's something that I've always been passionate about as it gives me the chance to help other people and make a positive difference.
Hello! My name is Sahejpreet Dhillon, usually going as Sahej, and I'm very excited to be working to create change in the community. I have been volunteering in my community since the age of 13, and quickly developed a love for it, continuing with it even after completing my 40 hours. I have amassed over 500 hours in my last two years of volunteering, I think it's safe to say it's a fun hobby. I also love listening to different kinds of music, binging lots of tv shows and movies, as well as knitting. With everything currently going on in the world, I hope our council and all the initiatives are able to bring some positivity in the community ad we are able to help people who may need it most. I believe mental health is very important, and I love to help people, so in the future I would like to work a career in the field of psychology.
Hi, my name is Aima Shafiq, and I am very passionate about empowering youth and fostering change in the community. In the past, I have volunteered with Muslimfest, the Newcomer Centre of Peel, and the STEM Montessori Academy of Canada. Using my volunteer experience and my strong passion, I hope to inspire real change throughout the GTA. During my free time, I enjoy watching crime documentaries, reading books, and learning new languages.
As United for Justice grows, I hope to meet young people like the folks in our team, who are driven to have a positive impact. I feel that the voice of youth is underrepresented and underestimated and I hope that with such a talented team and your support, we can bridge this gap in our community.
Hey guys! My name is Kesiya Jojan and I'm very excited to be helping my community! I really love volunteering as I love meeting new people, learning new skills and helping others! A few of my hobbies are doing visual and digital art (drawing, painting & digitally drawing), embroidery and reading books. My favorite books series includes Percy Jackson and the Land of Stories. I also love reading about murder mysteries. Through this wonderful team and organization, I hope to change other people's lives and help out on making a difference. I am currently a senior student who wishes to pursue a career in the medical field someday!
