Museum

Join Us to Preserve Union City History!

The Union City Historical Museum was closed in 2022.

The Union City Chamber of Commerce and the Washington Township Museum of Local History
have collaborated to submit a proposal to lease the old firehouse on Smith Street to reopen the museum, incorporate
the Chamber of Commerce headquarters, include a research, storage and archival space for Union City historical papers
and artifacts, and to invite the public in with dynamic displays that tell the stories of our shared history.

History is told by those who appreciate how they and their families came here.

This new museum will be a place for community building, where residents and organizations can
meet and celebrate Union City through the years, both past and present.
