Illustrations and photography should portray a positive image of disaster prevention / recovery.

Human faces and stories should be the focus.

Conference pictures should be kept to the strict minimum (we do not want to convey that image)

Photos should always display the credit and source information.

You can access a selection of suitable photos to illustrate the Sendai Targets as well as major DRR themes on the UNDRR flickr site.

Sizes: Photos intended to be used as a large, featured image (hero image) should be 1440px in width, and at least 500px in height, up to 800px.

Icons

DRR related icons

In order to develop a common language around natural hazards and man-made disasters, UNDRR uses the icon set developed by OCHA. They are available free and can be downloaded either on ReliefWeb or on the Noun Project.

Web icons

UNDRR uses the web font "Font Awesome" to ensure scalability and performance. For a list of all the web icons used on the new corporate website, please refer to the Web Style Guide.
