How Educators can support families:

1. Communicate and interact with families to understand their challenges
2. Provide families with appropriate supports; services and organizations that may help
3. Ask specific questions to understand the needs of the families
4. Facilitate collaboration between families and appropriate professionals
5. Try not to overstep or judge the parents but instead respect their choices and decisions
