Silvia De Toffoli

Silvia De Toffoli is Assistant Professor (Ricercatrice a Tempo Determinato - Tipo B) in Logic and Philosophy of Science (M-FIL/02) at the University School for Advanced Studies - IUSS Pavia. She is furthermore an affiliated researcher at the Institut für Philosophie, Literatur-, Wissenschafts-, und Technikgeschichte of the Technische Universität Berlin, and the SPHERE Laboratory in Paris. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor and Wallenberg Academy Fellow at Linköping Universite in Sweden. From February 2019 to February 2022, she was a Postdoc at the Philosophy Department at Princeton University. She obtained her Ph.D in philosophy at Stanford University in 2019, and a Ph.D in Mathematics at TU Berlin in 2013. She works mainly in the fields of Philosophy of Mathematics and Epistemology. She is also interested in general issues in Philosophy of Science, and Philosophy and Literature
